Responsibilities
Manage Server systems and perform basic Linux (Ubuntu) administration tasks
Perform racking/mounting of servers and network devices; run structured cabling (network/fiber). Decommission of servers
Deep hardware knowledge of Dell, HPE, and Lenovo servers; experienced in assembling/disassembling components
Strong knowledge on server hardware breakfix operations and troubleshooting
Execute firmware and service pack updates; troubleshoot related issues
Set up and troubleshoot ILO, iDRAC, and BMC interfaces for out-of-band management
Perform CPU upgrades and manual firmware updates as needed
Configure and troubleshoot basic networking components including VLANs and trunk ports
Configure and troubleshoot DNS/DHCP services and resolve related issues within Infoblox
Troubleshoot PXE boot issues and manage virtual media imaging processes
Hands-on experience in managing data center environments with a focus on uptime and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical challenges
Flexible and eager to learn emerging technologies and tools
Strong time management and prioritization skills aligned with customer needs
Committed to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system reliability
Qualification
Required
