Sales Specialist - Inbox & Chartering

Responsibilities

Own revenue and adoption KPIs for Chartering and Inbox solutions
Drive pipeline generation and progression, ensuring targets are hit consistently
Lead high-impact product demos tailored to charterers, operators, brokers, and traders
Manage proof-of-value and trial cycles end-to-end, addressing workflows, objections, and ROI
Support Global AMs on certain deals and negotiations with product-specific expertise
Track competitor landscapes across chartering and maritime email providers
Deliver insights to Product and PMM to strengthen positioning and accelerate product development
Ensure Sales has sharp, up-to-date messaging, battlecards, and use-case narratives
Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, aligning product capabilities to chartering workflows and operational pain points
Partner with Customer Success to ensure strong onboarding and expansion opportunities
Represent Kpler at client meetings, events, and webinars as a subject-matter expert for Chartering & Inbox
Drive awareness and preference for Kpler across the maritime ecosystem

Qualification

Required

5+ years' of SaaS sales experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in chartering software, maritime tech, freight SaaS or commercial shipping roles
Solid understanding of pre-fixture workflows, vessel screening, email/communication flows, and operational data needs
Proven experience in quota-bearing or KPI-driven roles
Strong presentation, storytelling, and discovery skills
Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

Preferred

Previous experience with maritime email providers
