Responsibilities
Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures
Establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
Support data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
Manage metadata, data lineage, and data classification practices
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams
Monitor data governance KPIs and resolve data-related issues
Support data audits and governance reporting activities
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management concepts
Experience with data governance tools and frameworks
Knowledge of data privacy, risk, and compliance requirements
Ability to translate business needs into governance solutions
