Responsibilities
Execute and manage nightly and weekly testing efforts on Flash/SSD products
Conduct first-level triage and analysis of failures encountered during testing and work with key stakeholders to drive to resolution
Have a high-level understanding of the different facets of Flash/SSD devices and testing methodologies to act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the validation group
Prepare nightly and weekly reports for validation/product teams to present project status and progress
Review and analyze NVMe SSD validation requirements from customer/architecture specs and influence product design for test and debug
Research and implement innovative ways to test/validate NVMe SSDs
Work with the FW and Test Development teams to design tailored tests for reproducing and investigating customer-reported issues
Coordinate with the internal tools team to identify and define new features needed to improve the coverage and capacity of in-house tools
Design and implement test infrastructure enhancements to ensure proper and efficient validation of Flash/SSD products
Qualification
Required
A college degree is required for the role, a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Expected Level of relevant experience: 1-3 years
Experience in analog and/or digital electronics, C/C++, Python, Linux/Windows operating systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Windows, and Linux server storage environments
Preferred
Interest in SSD, flash, semiconductor, components, and nonvolatile memory industry
