Strategy & Operations Manager (Patient Activation)

The Strategy & Operations Manager (Patient Activation) is responsible for the daily operational health and analytical oversight of the Patient Activation function, ensuring engagement goals are met through process management and data integrity.

Responsibilities
Identify opportunities to standardize and automate workflows
The Manager is responsible for maintaining and evolving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for patient enrollment and prior authorization processes to ensure consistent quality as Everbright scales
Provide secondary "dotted line" oversight for the Patient Advocate team (frontline enrollment and activation staff). This includes conducting regular quality audits, managing daily throughput, and troubleshooting operational bottlenecks
Translate 6, 12, and 18-month strategic plans into actionable project milestones
The Manager ensures all departmental initiatives are delivered on schedule and align with broader organizational objectives
Serve as the primary owner of the Patient Activation data environment
This includes ensuring all data inputs are validated and reflect a "single source of truth" for all departmental performance metrics
Maintain and further develop the reporting suite used for internal leadership and external clients
While Excel mastery is required, the ability to implement automated BI solutions (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
Perform regular deep-dive analyses into the patient funnel to identify conversion trends and provide data-driven recommendations for intervention strategies
Serve as a secondary operational point of contact for clients
This includes the preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly performance reports and participating in client meetings to discuss activation activity
Act as a bridge between the Patient Activation functions and internal teams such as Product, Operations, and Enablement to ensure seamless execution of integrated projects
Assist the Head of Patient Activation in the development of board-level materials, business cases, and strategic presentations
Assist in the management and evaluation of digital marketing efforts (Google and Meta Ads) focused on partner websites
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital acquisition channels as they relate to patient enrollment rates and activation outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required, Masters a plus
3-5+ years of professional experience with a background in one or more of the following: Healthcare Operations, Healthcare Consulting, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Analytics
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling)
Proven ability to outline and execute long-term plans while maintaining high attention to detail across multiple projects
Ability to manage 'up' to leadership and 'across' to partner teams, maintaining professional relationships and driving accountability across various stakeholder groups
A self-starter who identifies operational gaps and independently proposes and implements structured solutions
Preferred
Experience with SQL or data visualization software (Tableau/Power BI)
