Responsibilities

Consult with Stakeholders: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers to understand their unique evaluation and data labeling needs
Scope and Define Evaluations: Partner with requesters to clarify objectives—such as experiment validation, data labeling, or content quality assessment—and determine the best evaluation approach
Design and Develop Workflows: Create robust testing frameworks, complete with annotation guidelines, training materials, and recommended labeling protocols to be approved by project stakeholders
Leverage the Right Resources: Evaluate whether to use human annotators, large language models (LLMs), or hybrid solutions for each project, selecting the most effective and scalable method for the task
Vendor & Solution Management: Oversee the day-to-day relationship with external vendors, ensuring high-quality outcomes and process efficiency
Test Execution & Oversight: Launch tests at scale, closely monitor progress, and proactively troubleshoot to keep projects on track
Deliver Results and Insights: Analyze, synthesize, and share evaluation results, providing actionable insights and comprehensive documentation to project teams

Required

Proven experience managing data labeling or human evaluation programs, ideally in a technology or content-driven environment
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, including the use of LLMs and human-in-the-loop systems
Experience selecting and managing external vendors or partners
Ability to design clear annotation guidelines and quality assurance processes
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data analysis and reporting
Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional engagement
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, or related discipline)

Preferred

Knowledge of content relevance, moderation, or quality assessment practices is a plus
