Responsibilities
Analyze, test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment
Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared
Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
Administrate Navy Computer Network Defense (CND) systems, including the Host-Based Security System (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Perform scanning with the CND toolset and provide non-compliance reports
Provide reports and documentation in support of the submission of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Validate technical standards and security policy for LAN topologies and components; identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
Qualification
Required
Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance
One (1) year of Computerized System experience, to include: network protocols and UNIX and Windows based operating systems
Must be Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II). This requires one of the following certifications: Security + CE, CySA + CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, CND or SSCP
Preferred
High school Diploma / GED or related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate preferred
First-hand experience is desired in the following areas: CISCO Router / Switch configuration and troubleshooting
Microsoft Domain Administration
Virtual server administration
