Responsibilities
Lead communications strategy and execution for the Lorraine W. Frank Office of National Scholarships Advisement (ONSA)
Contribute to broader Barrett marketing and storytelling efforts
Supervise student employees and, as the program grows, additional staff members
Collaborate closely with campus partners, external vendors, and advertising agencies to ensure cohesive, high-quality messaging across platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
Demonstrated marketing copywriting skills across multiple formats, including social media, email marketing, newsletters, and journalistic-style content, with demonstrated knowledge and application of AP style
Experience developing and executing digital communications or marketing strategies, including organic and paid social media and email campaigns
Proficiency using tools such as Airtable, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and other platforms for project management, campaign management, analytics, and reporting
Experience supervising and mentoring student employees or junior staff, including assigning work, providing feedback, and ensuring quality and consistency
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners and external vendors or agencies to support campaign development and execution
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in writing, editing, and digital content development
Experience developing and executing communications or marketing strategies
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, and digital content tools
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in higher education or student-focused communications
Familiarity with paid media advertising and performance optimization
Experience supporting basic video production or short-form video for digital platforms
Minimum of three to five years of experience in communications or marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
