Responsibilities
Own the design, evolution, and scaling of the data platform in production
Lead ETL / ELT strategy and execution end to end
Own orchestration using Dagster including asset design, partitioning, and operational best practices
Define core data models and metrics used by the business
Set engineering standards, establish SLOs, and build runbooks for critical datasets
Mentor other engineers and help grow the data engineering function over time
Build a clear roadmap for scaling ETL over the next 2–3 quarters
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in data engineering
Proven experience building and scaling data platforms in production
Strong ownership mindset and comfort operating with ambiguity
Experience with modern cloud data stacks
