Responsibilities
Oversee and be accountable for SEO initiatives that further strategic company objectives and the digital vision
Lead cross-functional programs with multiple layers of dependencies involving executive leaders and multiple business areas. Proactively identify risks, issues and roadblocks and drives resolution
Lead timeline development and track implementation engaging product, user experience, analytics and engineering partners effectively and tactfully where necessary to drive efficiency and strong outcomes
Apply specialized knowledge of SEO industry standards/practices to programs and initiatives
Uphold, lead and enforce the discipline of organizational change management
Understand the relationships and impacts of programs and initiatives across business units
Provide recommendations on program dependencies that could affect the success of other initiatives. Be critical of established processes and suggest relevant improvements
Provide analysis and input on issues critical to the success of the business's strategic goals
Lead program and initiative reviews with stakeholders and senior leadership to drive alignment and specific outcomes
Build a successful followership around a common goal with stakeholders. Manage multiple business area stakeholders
Support creation of stakeholder facing metrics, executive summaries and presentations, and reporting
Plan and manage special projects utilizing project management best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
4+ years related experience
Highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment; able to thrive within ambiguity
You have worked closely with software engineers, QA, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle
You are comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people
Experience with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile/Scrum)
Can lead and conduct training sessions to evangelize best practices and onboard new team members
You have experience influencing and setting expectations for cross-functional initiatives
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
Excellent organizational skills and deep understanding of Project Management concepts for planning, monitoring, and reporting
You are decisive - you gather the data and make informed, critical decisions quickly
You are outcome driven with a proven track record for achieving results that drive the company and the teams you work with towards successful results
You naturally exude team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualities
You are able to work independently with little to no supervision
Experience working with remote teams
Preferred
Familiarity with SEO principles preferred; while deep expertise is not required, candidates should have a foundational understanding of SEO concepts and demonstrate a willingness to learn and engage with the product area
PMP certification preferred
