Responsibilities
Analyze and model options strategies, including covered calls, protective puts, spreads, and collars
Evaluate risk/reward profiles, payoff structures, and scenario outcomes for options-based trades
Monitor options positions, expirations, and implied volatility metrics
Support the design and ongoing refinement of firm-wide options strategies and overlays
Assist with portfolio construction, rebalancing, and implementation of investment strategies
Support tax-aware investment decisions, including options-related tax considerations
Collaborate with portfolio managers on tactical and strategic investment positioning
Conduct research on market trends, volatility environments, and options market signals
Analyze implied vs. historical volatility and market sentiment indicators
Prepare internal research, analysis, and recommendations to support investment decisions
Support trade implementation, monitoring, and reconciliation related to options activity
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to internal investment policies
Coordinate with custodians, trading platforms, and internal teams as needed
Provide analytical support for advisor discussions related to options strategies
Assist in preparing client-facing materials that explain options concepts in a clear, compliant manner
Occasionally participate in client or internal investment meetings as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
4+ years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or trading
Strong understanding of options mechanics, strategies, and risk management principles
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with portfolio or trading systems preferred
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex investment concepts clearly and concisely
Comfort working independently while collaborating within a team environment
