Technical Support Engineer

Teltonika is a leading provider of industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, and they are seeking a Networking and IoT Engineering Specialist to join their team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will provide technical expertise, resolve complex networking challenges, and support product integration into customer solutions.

Responsibilities

Attend pre-sales and post-sales in-person or remote communication with local market customers
Self-sufficiently resolve technical issues arising from customer's configuration, firmware/software, other sources
Act as a key link between Teltonika Networks R&D/HQ and customers, facilitating the resolution of complex technical challenges
Work with Linux-based OS, industrial protocols, various networking services and protocols, and occasional 3rd-party peripherals
Conduct training sessions for employees and clients on our products and solutions

Qualification

Computer NetworkingLinux-based OSCCNA CertificationTechnical Support ExperienceHigher Technical EducationRoutersFluent in EnglishCommunication SkillsFast-paced Environment Adaptability

Required

Good communication skills, etiquette, ability and desire to help others
Knowledge of Computer Networking, basics of telecommunication systems, and technologies
Fluent in the English language
Higher or equivalent technical / engineering education
Capability of working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience working with routers is an asset
Certification in CCNA or similar courses would be considered an advantage
Experience in technical support would be considered an advantage
