Responsibilities

Provide high-level technical expertise in support of new or existing applications software in one or multiple specialties
Leads or consults with cross-functional teams, staffed by federal civil servants and contractors, composed of professionals skilled in information technology, data engineering, design, product management, project management, and data science
Provides technical advice and support on solutions to critical problems, which require creativity in generating new hypotheses, approaches, and standards to be used agency- and nationwide by others
Serves as an agency expert in new and emerging information technology tools, platforms, and methods

Required

You must be a U.S. Citizen or National to apply for this position
You will be subject to a background and suitability investigation

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government
Analyzing IT systems or data products with related policies for federal requirements and compliance
Leading cross-functional teams to automate processes through the IT or data development life cycle and delivering user-focused IT products to support customer needs
Applying modern agile, human-centered methods to produce high-quality solutions and deliverables that offer quantifiable business value to clients and stakeholders
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations
