Responsibilities

Legal Research and Writing: Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft necessary documents including motions and appeals
Document Preparation: Prepare, proof, and file legal documents, utilizing platforms such as the EEO and MSPB portals
Caseload Management: Support an active legal caseload by tracking deadlines, coordinating filings, and ensuring client communications are handled accurately, professionally, and on time
Executive Support: Own executive inbox and calendar management, proactively prioritizing requests, anticipating needs, coordinating travel and meetings, and ensuring high-priority items are followed through to completion
Client Communication: Manage and coordinate client communications related to active matters, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional follow-through in alignment with attorney guidance
Operational Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient legal and operational workflows, helping translate priorities into action in a fast-moving environment

Required

High-level paralegal experience with proven ability in legal research, writing, and litigation support
Expertise in managing high-volume inboxes and calendars for senior executives
Strong, professional communication and coordination abilities with clients and internal teams
Familiarity with e-filing systems and legal document management tools such as MyCase and Dropbox
High degree of attention to detail and organizational skills, necessary for managing multifaceted responsibilities
Able to manage shifting priorities, handle time-sensitive work, and engage confidently and professionally in direct, outcome-focused discussions
Comfortable managing priorities proactively, including flagging issues, recommending next steps, and ensuring commitments are executed
Proactively flags issues, recommends next steps, and ensures commitments are followed through to completion
