The role involves performing essential clerical and administrative functions that support mail processing, records management, customer service, and general office operations.

Responsibilities

Receive, sort, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail, including certified, registered, express, and inter-office correspondence
Operate and maintain postage and mail processing equipment; prepare daily and monthly postage activity reports
Categorize and distribute mail to appropriate divisions using established routing procedures and electronic notifications
Answer and route telephone calls, take accurate messages, and provide routine information to callers
Perform clerical duties related to records management, including the receipt, retention, and destruction of official records in accordance with policy
Provide administrative service support such as binding, shredding, supply sorting, furniture moves, and assistance with employee relocations
Maintain mileage logs and coordinate scheduling for departmental vehicle maintenance or repairs
Deliver and distribute faxes, mail, and materials to appropriate divisions and obtain delivery verification as required
Assist with mass mailings, including copying, folding, stuffing, and processing materials through postage equipment
Operate standard office equipment such as copiers and calculators
Perform related duties as assigned to support Administrative Services operations
