This 8-week program offers hands-on experience in core business functions, focusing on compliance and construction processes while providing networking opportunities and professional development.

Responsibilities
Assist in the development of basic estimates under supervision
Learn to perform document Take-offs with guidance
Help maintain subcontractor database
Support processing of vendor and subcontractor requisitions
Assist in developing bid clarifications and RFI's
Learn to review trade duration with subcontractors and support project schedule preparation
Support submittal, procurement, and delivery process
Learn to read and process shop drawings and compare to construction documents and specifications
Help assemble bid documents for pricing and support development of trade spreadsheets for subcontractor's bids
Assist with specification and plan reviews and learn to develop preliminary scopes of work by trade
Support updating the scope sheet for subcontractor pricing
Participate in project site walk throughs as required
Shadow experienced team members to learn construction processes and project management techniques
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
Strong desire to learn and develop project management skills
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must have a team-oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate
Detail-oriented with ability to follow instructions carefully
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Reliable transportation for site visits
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Preferred
Previous construction or related internship experience preferred but not required
