Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring a team of wealth management segment focused Advisors who serve Empower Premier & Brokerage clients, including conducting regular touch base meetings, call reviews, periodic bonus recommendations and performance reviews
Directly coaching a team of Advisors to ensure firm-wide performance goals are met or exceeded in the areas of new relationship onboarding, client contact, share of wallet growth, referral generation and client retention
Driving client service related projects and developments by identifying, prioritizing, and delegating areas where we can improve process, procedure, or technology
Conceptualizing and enhancing reporting for Advisors and management
Working with internal stakeholders to improve Advisor resource management to enhance client communication and education
Managing the daily schedules and PTO of a team of Advisors including adequate daily and holiday coverage
Enhancing and participating in initial training and ongoing education programs for Advisors
Participating in the recruiting and hiring of new Advisors
Comprehensive relationship management via phone conversations, email communication, and in-person meetings. Client interaction is both proactive and reactive
Act as liaison between clients & various internal groups/departments within Empower Personal Wealth to serve clients
Initial point of elevation and escalation for any Client Service matter
Onboarding and servicing of mass affluent client relationships

Required

Bachelor's Degree or extensive industry experience required
FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 (or 63 and 65) registrations required within corporate-established timelines
FINRA Fingerprinting required
Strong interpersonal leadership skills, team-oriented, and collaborative
Ability to exhibit strong decision making supported by quantitative data and qualitative rationale
Excellent operational, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex operational work in an efficient manner
Ability to work at the strategic and tactical level
Expert, current knowledge of investment products and services
End-to-end experience with all aspects of retail investment service, such as front-office operations, ongoing client suitability, product personalization/maintenance, as well as client service and retention
Experience with all areas of the client operations aspect of investment advisory. Examples: (Account Establishment, ACAT, IRA distributions, etc.)

Preferred

2+ years' experience in financial services relationship management and operations preferred
Experience in a player-coach, managerial, and/or mentorship role, particularly with Mid-career professionals
CFP® preferred
