This is an Admin heavy position
NERCIP BACKGROUND REQUIRED
General networking experience
Firewall preferred but any network experience will suffice
OSI model
TCPI / handshake
Firewall policy & how it works
Experience with routing technologies
Experience working in regulated or critical infrastructure environments
Experience in a data center strongly preferred
NERCIP background requirements (certification not required)
ESPS
EAP (electronic access points)
Must know how to secure a networking/firewall device
Will be generating and analyzing information
Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals, including the OSI model and TCP/IP handshake
Experience with firewall technologies (preferred) or strong general network administration experience
Working knowledge of NERC CIP standards, including ESPs and EAPs
Understanding of firewall policy design and enforcement
Strong analytical and documentation skills
