Associate Director, Classified Networking - Onsite, North TX or AZ

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and management for the Classified Networking organization
Technical planning, long-term budget planning, technical debt management, solution catalog inputs, and support daily operations
Deliver stable, proactive, secure, and supportable operational environments
Develop and deploy talent and technical capabilities
Strengthen relationships with internal and external peers to ensure the success of the DT organization in meeting strategic digital transformation objectives
Coordinate with organizations across the enterprise to support the OneRTX roadmaps
Manage and develop a team of seven leaders and 110 individual contributors
Set technology direction based on engineering and program needs determined by front-end business architects
Seek and develop synergies between multiple groups: Classified Networking, Data Center operations, and High-Performance Computing
Drive standards and proactively innovate solutions in response to evolving security requirements
Create operational metrics to inform long-term capital investments
Ensure alignment with key partners, including peers at Collins and Pratt & Whitney, various engineering disciplines, Digital functional peers, program and SBU leadership, Digital leadership, Global Security Services (GSS) Cyber and program security teams, as well as key suppliers and vendors
Participate in Enterprise councils to represent business requirements and influence priorities and effective collaboration
Work directly with customers and GSS to align on program security requirements, expectations and any required mitigation and remediation activities
Speak as cognizant authority representing the Classified Networking discipline communicating the capabilities of the organization
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience
Experience with Networking and Network technologies
Experience Leading teams in professional technology environments
Experience managing workforce planning and resource management
Experience in project management
Experience in financial management, either in financial portfolio or budget, including Annual Operations Planning
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Negotiation in new Business efforts and Program standup
Experience of engaging with Customers, SBU Leadership and Engineering to enable optimal use of Networking resources
Experience leading teams in a Digital Technology or IT organization
Experience working in Classified Computing environments, preferrable with knowledge of operating in Top Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) Areas
Experience successfully presenting to senior leadership
Experience successfully implementing newer technologies (ie cloud-based environments)
Familiarity with Network management tools
Experience of Business continuity and Disaster Recovery operations
Experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or Program Environments strongly preferred
Experience collaborating with functional engineering, Real Estate, Cyber Security and programs
Experience in Classified Environments, including Security requirements and controls
Knowledge of DFARs, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG requirements and controls
Experience with cyber and compliance hardening, process controls, and risk management
Proven effective communication skills, with ability to influence and drive change
Demonstrated ability to understand complex issues, develop effective solutions, and drive to timely resolution
Relationship builder at all levels and across the Enterprise
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting tasks and initiatives
Proven ability to lead, develop, inspire, and motivate a team
Experience securely connecting labs to internal and external customers
Demonstrated success in leading change efforts
BS in Computer Science or Engineering; Finance or Business advanced technical degree (MS, PhD) preferred
US Top Secret Clearance (DoD) preferred
