Responsibilities
In close coordination with the Chief Partnerships Officer (CPO), manage a portfolio of donors and steward their grantmaking
Support new business development activities - including identifying and cultivating partnerships based on evolving strategic interests at the organization and new target audiences
Grow our corporate giving portfolio by developing partnerships with Fortune 1000 companies and foundations
Support CPO in securing and managing sponsorships for key industry events and represent Myriad USA at those events to further develop relationships. This will require domestic and potentially international travel
Identify and support marketing and communication opportunities to profile our work
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of professional experience in global philanthropy, foundation, or nonprofit industries
Strong relationship building skills with demonstratable experience developing partnerships and managing a grantmaking portfolio
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, engage, and connect with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
Knowledge and understanding of the philanthropic sector and international giving trends
Knowledge and understanding of corporate giving and CSR an advantage
Proficiency in a foreign language, deep international experience, or working in a multicultural setting essential
A self-starter mindset, organized, and tech-savvy, with the ability to track and prioritize multiple activities at the same time
A commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment that values diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and contributions
Authorization to work in the US required
