Responsibilities
Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability studies
Analyze user behavior, requirements, and pain points
Create user personas, user journeys, and experience maps
Design intuitive and user-centered experiences
Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes
Define information architecture and interaction design
Ensure accessibility and usability best practices (WCAG)
Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces
Create high-fidelity mockups and design systems
Define typography, color palettes, icons, and layouts
Maintain brand consistency across applications
Build interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback
Iterate designs based on user testing and stakeholder input
Translate designs into responsive user interfaces
Develop UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, Vue
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Optimize UI performance and responsiveness
Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design implementation
Present design concepts and rationale to teams and leadership
Create and maintain design systems and component libraries
Document design guidelines, patterns, and standards
Ensure scalability and consistency across products
Apply accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA)
Ensure inclusive design for diverse user groups
Follow usability and UX best practices
Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies
Analyze user feedback and product metrics
Continuously refine and improve user experiences
Lead UX strategy and design direction
Mentor junior designers and UI developers
Drive design thinking workshops
Define and evolve company-wide design standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or UI Developer
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision
Experience with prototyping and usability testing
Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for UI development roles)
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA)
Experience working with design systems and component libraries
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to present design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (preferred)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Lead UX strategy and design direction
