Responsibilities
Building and maintaining scalable Python microservices
Contributing to API design and integration patterns across services
Deploying and supporting systems in production as part of an on-call rotation
Following healthy engineering practices, including code review, iterative delivery, automated testing, and continuous deployment
Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver seamless customer experiences
Leveraging AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps tooling to ensure reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience delivering meaningful software projects to production
Understanding of modern software engineering practices, including logging, monitoring, continuous deployment, and automated testing
Proficiency with Python and building backend systems using microservice architectures
Interest in using AI tools as part of your developer workflow
To be inquisitive, ready to engage in vibrant debate, make difficult decisions quickly, and learn continuously
Preferred
Experience integrating or optimizing LLM-powered workflows
Experience with SEO, site performance, and tools like PageSpeed Insights
Experience with observability tools like Datadog
Understanding of AWS, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Familiarity with financial services, fintech, real estate, or home lending technology
Experience with modern frontend frameworks or API contract design
