Product Manager
Joie Children's Products, Inc. is a global baby gear brand established in 2011, focused on designing products with families in mind. They are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of juvenile product plans, conduct market analysis, and manage products throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities
As the voice for Product Development (“PD”), you will facilitate timely, up-to-date, accurate and effective flow of communication, information, and mutual understanding between all stakeholders
As a voice for the customer and consumer, you will ensure the PD team is kept up to date with customer and consumer insights throughout the product development process, recommending feature changes and/or additions when appropriate
Creates and maintains competitor product detail information
Monitors ongoing market analysis to gain a thorough understanding of the customer, consumer and competition to assist with providing strategic product direction
Understands the market landscape and is the in-house product expert
Identify new product opportunities based on consumer perceptions, expectations and competitors
Responsible for being subject matter expert and point of contact for the brand and creative teams
Propose development of new and derivative product strategies for growth
Define new project vision, strategy and roadmap
Collaborate with internal teams on the recommendation of cost and price points for products to maintain healthy margins
Communicate key product information and USP to brand teams for launch preparation
Ensure the development stages of the product timeline are met
Provide support at product presentations, trade shows and research events
Guide all products in assigned categories throughout the product lifecycle (Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline)
Coordinate production schedules to ensure on-time ship windows
Align cross-functional teams on expectations and manage the delivery of information for new products or product changes to ensure business, customer and consumer goals are met

Qualification
Required
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in product or business management preferably in consumer goods, durables, or juvenile products
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough market and competitor analysis and identify new product opportunities
Well versed in gathering and interpreting customer and consumer insights to inform product development decisions
Experience in coordinating production planning, schedules, and cross-team alignment to ensure successful product execution
Proven track record in managing products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
Possess exceptional cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical abilities for conducting market and competitor analysis
Expertise in gathering and interpreting customer and consumer insights
Strategic thinking and vision-setting for product development and growth
Project management proficiency to coordinate timelines and deliverables
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate collaboration and information flow
Collaboration and teamwork with creative, brand, and production teams
Ability to define and articulate unique selling propositions (USPs)
Financial acumen for recommending cost and price points to sustain margins
Adaptability in dynamic markets and openness to product adjustments
Presentation and public speaking skills for product launches and events
Organizational skills for managing samples and production schedules
Results-oriented mindset focused on meeting business, customer, and consumer objectives
Possess a natural curiosity that is grounded by a desire to understand customer/consumer habits
Ability to work extended hours as business needs warrant; may on occasion include nights and weekends
Domestic & International travel, up to 25% as business needs warrant
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
