Akkodis is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a contract position with a client located in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting application testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Facilitate user meetings and interviews to define business and system requirements and develop use cases
Translate business needs into detailed Business Requirements and Functional Specifications
Research and resolve system issues throughout the project lifecycle
Code business application programs based on user instructions or formal specifications
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements
Assist end users with system issues and provide training when needed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems
Excellent problem‑solving and data analysis ability
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to produce clear, detailed documentation
Experience coding business applications is beneficial
Strong analytical skills supporting UAT and issue resolution
