Responsibilities
IBM IIB / ACE (Primary)
IBM IIB v10+ or ACE 12 – strong hands‑on development
Design, develop, and deploy integrations using ESQL , Message Flows , Message Sets , BAR files , Compute , and Java Compute nodes
Work with multiple message formats (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, CSV, FIX etc.)
Implement transformation, routing, exception handling, and logging frameworks
Configure and manage IIB/ACE deployments across Dev/Test/Prod
Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of message flows
Set up and maintain MQ objects (Queues, Topics, Channels)
Apache Kafka
Develop real‑time data streaming solutions using Kafka Producers, Consumers, Streams, and Connect frameworks
Design schemas using Avro/JSON with Schema Registry integration
Build scalable, fault‑tolerant streaming pipelines
Configure Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, retention policies, consumer groups
Integration Design & Delivery
Participate in integration requirement analysis and solution design
Follow best practices for CI/CD, version control, and DevOps pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub/Azure DevOps)
Ensure quality through unit testing, functional testing, and peer reviews
Work closely with cross‑functional teams like architects, testers, Business Users
Qualification
Required
IBM IIB v10+ or ACE 12 – strong hands‑on development
ESQL & Compute Node Coding
IBM MQ administration basics
Kafka (2.x/3.x) – producers, consumers, streaming
REST/SOAP API integration
CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
UNIX/Linux commands & scripting
Preferred
Microservices & containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Monitoring tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace
Mango DB knowledge
