Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify, prospect, and engage with potential clients in the Life & Annuity sector
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals
Sales Cycle: Lead from RFI/RFP to closure for complex deal life-cycles (over many months) involving executive buyers, IT, actuarial, underwriting, operations, and compliance stakeholders
Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate Insurtech products and services, articulating value propositions and ROI
Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
Client and Prospect Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, understanding their pain points and aligning solutions to their business objectives
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position our solutions competitively
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client success

Required

7+ years of B2B sales in the Insurtech space
A strong background in the Life & Annuity Sector with an established network of contacts
Solid understanding of life insurance operations and core systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation and closing abilities
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Ability to travel as required for business development and industry trade show events
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)
