DATAEXL INFORMATION LLC is seeking a Teradata Admin to serve as a liaison between the end client and the Teradata team. The role involves administrative tasks and ensuring that the Teradata team aligns with the client's roadmap while also supporting daily operations and troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

You will be the liaison between the end client and Teradata team that is being used for a professional services engagement
You will be doing administrative task and making sure that the Teradata team is doing right by the client in their roadmap
You will essentially be the eyes and ears of the client
Definitely more of an operations role with some admin tasks in teradata
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Provide technical guidance to engineers and analysts (influence without direct people management)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance, locking, and resource contention issues using tools like Teradata Viewpoint and capacity/health dashboards
Uses trouble-shooting tools and analytical practices to help determine best way to resolve identified and unidentified problems
Support daily operations, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support backup/restore (BAR), disaster recovery, and system maintenance
Ensure SLAs for availability, performance, and data delivery are met
