Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
Define current and future-state business processes aligned to Oracle Cloud best practices
Develop and maintain functional artifacts, including: Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Process flows and swim-lane diagrams, Data, reporting, and integration requirements
Translate business needs into clear functional solutions that balance standard Oracle functionality with configuration and integration requirements
Support Oracle ERP Cloud modules, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Project Financial Management (as applicable)
Assist With And Support: Chart of accounts and ledger design and maintenance, Accounting rules and subledger accounting, Financial reporting and period-close processes
Support Oracle EPM Applications, Including: Planning & Budgeting, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Account Reconciliation
Ensure Alignment Between: EPM planning, close, and consolidation processes, ERP actuals, chart of accounts, and reporting structures
Define integration use cases, business rules, and data mappings
Collaborate with technical teams on OIC integrations using REST, SOAP, and file-based methods
Support Integrations Between: Oracle Fusion modules (ERP, EPM, Projects), Third-party systems (banks, payroll providers, benefits vendors, data warehouses, etc.)
Assist With: Integration testing and validation, Error handling, reconciliation, and ongoing support
Act as the primary business-facing liaison between internal stakeholders and the Oracle Fusion Cloud Managed Services Provider (MSP), if applicable
Coordinate day-to-day MSP activities across ERP, EPM, and OIC, including: Incident, service request, and enhancement intake, Work prioritization and backlog management, Assignment, tracking, and resolution of support activities
Where applicable, ensure MSP delivery aligns with: Contracted scope and service-level agreements (SLAs / OLAs), Run-state responsibilities and operating procedures, Oracle quarterly update and release schedules
Monitor MSP Performance Against Defined KPIs, Including: Incident response and resolution times, Defect recurrence and root-cause trends, Enhancement throughput and quality, Change success and rollback rates
Facilitate and participate in governance forums, such as: Weekly operational review meetings, Monthly service-level and KPI reviews, Quarterly roadmap, capacity, and release-planning sessions
Identify and escalate risks, issues, and service gaps; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
Serve as the functional gatekeeper for: New enhancement requests, Configuration changes, Integration updates (OIC)
Partner With Business Owners To: Refine and size requests, Define acceptance criteria and business value
Support change-control and release-management processes by: Assessing cross-module functional impacts, Coordinating testing activities and business sign-off, Managing the quarterly SaaS release cycle with Oracle, including reviewing release notes and managing any enhanced testing or review that may be required, Supporting cutover and go-live readiness
Lead Or Support Functional Testing Activities, Including: System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression testing for quarterly updates
Develop test scenarios, scripts, and validation criteria
Support data validation, cutover planning, and go-live execution
Provide Post-production Support Through: Issue triage and root-cause analysis, Functional fixes and configuration updates, Collaboration with MSP and technical teams on resolution
Ensure effective knowledge transfer between implementation teams, MSP resources, and internal stakeholders
Maintain Documentation Standards For: Functional configurations and business processes, Integrations and data flows, Support procedures and runbooks
Identify Opportunities To: Reduce recurring incidents, Improve business processes, Optimize Oracle Cloud configuration and integrations
Support Leadership With: MSP and Oracle capacity planning and utilization tracking, Forecasting run vs. change demand, Functional input into statements of work (SOWs) and scope changes, Contribute to MSP evaluations, renewals, and performance reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, HR, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Analyst
Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud in one or more suites: ERP, EPM
Strong understanding of: End-to-end business processes, SaaS application lifecycles and Oracle quarterly updates
Experience working with managed services or application support models
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Preferred

Experience in the Life Insurance & Annuities
Multi-module Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation or post-go-live support experience
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, insurance, healthcare)
Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or phased delivery methodologies
Oracle Cloud certifications (ERP, EPM, and/or OIC)
