Analyst, Member Services
ArchWell Health is focused on creating a community of caring for seniors to help them stay healthy and engaged. The Analyst, Member Services will support analytical needs across the member services team, conducting root cause analysis and driving towards resolution of complex problems.

Responsibilities
Identify, monitor, and analyze member assignment by market to identify outliers and trends
Research member assignment issues, analyze data, present results, and recommend solutions to address business challenges by applying knowledge of member assignment, critical-thinking skills, and healthcare experience/expertise
Analyze membership to identify early signs of trends or other issues related to payor errors in reporting
Structure analytical results in an organized, visual manner to tell a meaningful, actionable story to cross-functional stakeholders
Interpret contractual language with a clear understanding of business rules around member attribution
Execute other duties and special projects as needed, focusing on knowledge and skills development
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and present solutions to complex problems
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to complete complex analyses, leading to actionable strategic and financial business decisions
Strong critical thinking skills to anticipate questions from key stakeholders and consider all aspects of an analysis before completion
Exhibit initiative in exploring and discovering opportunities to improve company performance through data analysis
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex problems succinctly and effectively for all levels of leadership
Ability to establish trusting, professional relationships with internal, senior stakeholders
Willingness to learn and tackle new problems and opportunities as they arise
Ability and willingness to travel on occasion (up to 5%)
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree
1-2 years of experience preferred, with new graduates welcome to apply
Expertise in MS Excel, including proficiency using formulas, PivotTables, graphing and other reporting and presentation features
Project management and communication skills

Experience in consulting, managed care, and/or healthcare provider/payer settings
