Responsibilities
Maintain the corporate general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to support internal reporting and external disclosures
Prepare audit-ready workpapers and support SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, in coordination with internal and external auditors
Assist with documentation, testing, and ongoing compliance with internal control over financial reporting under SOX 404
Partner cross-functionally to improve accounting processes, support budgeting activities, and enhance reporting accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
2+ years of public or corporate accounting experience in a publicly traded environment
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Financial reporting experience
Experience with SEC filings
Knowledge of internal controls
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented, analytical professional
Strong communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with real estate or complex entity exposure
Familiarity with public company reporting cycles
Familiarity with audit processes
Familiarity with SOX compliance frameworks
