Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage a group of related technology projects from inception through successful delivery
Lead delivery across multiple Scrum teams, supporting cross-product, cross-team, and cross-technology initiatives
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities
Anticipate bottlenecks, identify dependencies, and proactively manage risks and issues at multiple levels
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Java, API-based architectures, and modern design approaches
Partner with software engineers, architects, and principals to identify complex designs and propose simplified, scalable solutions
Understand long-term operational, maintenance, and support needs of the systems being built
Support technical decision-making by evaluating trade-offs across business goals, platform strategy, customer experience, and system maintainability
Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly and concisely to senior leadership, escalating blockers when required
Work directly with internal stakeholders and external technology partners, vendors, and customers
Collaborate with industry vendors to support architecture, implementation plans, and technology roadmaps
Identify partnership opportunities that increase development velocity and innovation
Operate effectively within Agile/Scrum environments, supporting teams with minimal guidance where delivery strategy is defined but design is evolving
Continuously optimize delivery processes across teams to improve efficiency and outcomes
Ensure alignment between product vision, technical execution, and customer experience
Define, track, and review delivery metrics to provide transparency and visibility into program health
Proactively identify new data sources and reporting mechanisms to improve insights and decision-making
Produce and maintain clear, accurate documentation as required for technical and business audiences
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Program Manager in complex technology environments
Strong understanding of Java, API development, and distributed system architectures
Experience managing delivery across multiple Agile/Scrum teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership
Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination
