Responsibilities
Architect, design, and deliver large-scale, high-performing features across the full technology stack
Lead system-level design and data modeling efforts to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable while aligning with organizational standards
Take a broad view of AI, identifying opportunities to build with it, integrate it into features, and use it to drive innovation
Own technical initiatives from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery, performance, extensibility, and reliability
Guide and contribute to operational engineering practices, including test automation, observability, and modern CI/CD workflows
Collaborate on cloud architecture decisions to deliver secure, resilient, and cost-efficient solutions
Produce high-quality, production-ready code that follows coding and operational best practices, accounts for edge cases, and is self-documenting
Drive efforts to reduce technical debt and improve system performance through continuous refactoring and advanced debugging
Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance by leveraging monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify issues
Promote a learning-focused culture by leading design discussions, offering constructive feedback, and encouraging cross-team collaboration
Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional partners to align technical execution with business goals and customer needs
Mentor engineers at various experience levels, providing guidance on architecture, software patterns, DevOps, and problem-solving approaches
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure shared understanding
Encourage knowledge sharing through documentation, presentations, and peer collaboration to strengthen team capabilities
Explore ways AI can enhance developer productivity, automate workflows, and improve system reliability
Evaluate and advocate for modern tools and technologies, integrating them into the stack when they add value
Lead initiatives that advance innovation and continuously improve engineering processes
Participate in system-wide architectural discussions to ensure alignment with long-term strategy and scalability
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development within high-performing teams
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js
Advanced experience with system design, data modeling (MongoDB, Postgres), and cloud-native development on AWS
Hands-on experience with test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
Proven ability to debug complex systems and implement observability for operational excellence
Demonstrated experience integrating AI code assistants to improve development efficiency and code quality, including hands-on use of tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, RooCode, or RooCline
A track record of mentoring engineers, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and influencing cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying and prioritizing high-impact engineering solutions
Preferred
Experience working in technology companies or high-growth startup environments
Familiarity with Agile development frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban and tools like JIRA
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technologies
Experience with pair programming and collaborative development practices
Practical experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into complex engineering tasks
Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in developer communities
