Senior Director of Finance
Beech Valley Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Finance to support a not-for-profit healthcare organization on Oahu in a full-time, onsite leadership role. This position oversees the full spectrum of finance operations and partners closely with the CFO and senior leadership to drive financial strategy and support the organization’s long-term mission and growth.

Responsibilities
Direct and oversee finance functions including accounting, budgeting, treasury, fundraising, and financial reporting
Lead purchasing, procurement, and contract administration, ensuring sound controls and mitigation of contractual and commercial risk
Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting and grant compliance, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200)
Oversee financial management systems spanning accounting, budgeting, treasury, procurement, purchasing, and supply chain
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures aligned with not-for-profit and healthcare best practices
Lead annual operating and capital budget processes in collaboration with senior leadership and department heads
Prepare and present financial reports for senior management, Board of Directors, and Board committees
Support the CFO with financial planning, analysis, treasury oversight, and investment strategy
Oversee Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting, and indirect cost rate preparation
Manage annual financial and single audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
Supervise procurement cycles including RFPs, bids, evaluations, and vendor performance management
Evaluate organizational risk and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and internal audit capabilities
Lead, mentor, and develop finance and procurement teams while promoting continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum 5+ years of progressive financial management experience in a healthcare environment
Prior experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, or similar senior finance role
Strong knowledge of grants management, Uniform Guidance, and federal compliance requirements
Experience with budgeting, treasury functions, and internal controls
Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary finance and procurement teams
Preferred
Master's degree
Not-for-profit healthcare experience strongly preferred
CPA certification preferred
Experience with Medicare/Medicaid Prospective Payment System (PPS) analysis
Prior involvement with internal audit functions or establishing internal audit programs
Familiarity with healthcare financial systems and ERP implementations
