Responsibilities
Lead and develop the revenue accounting team to meet high standards of accuracy and timeliness in monthly and quarterly close processes
Manage the end-to-end revenue close, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and gross margin reporting
Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, managing walkthroughs, documentation, and issue resolution
Present close outcomes and margin analysis to the CFO, escalating material matters affecting revenue timing or compliance
Partner with Sales and Legal to review complex deal structures involving hardware, software, and AI services, identifying revenue impacts prior to contract execution
Own revenue-related SOX controls and ensure all technical accounting conclusions are documented, approved, and audit-ready
Partner with IT and Operations to implement revenue system enhancements in Oracle, perform UAT, and validate master data integrity
Collaborate with Technical Accounting to enforce revenue policies and train non-finance teams on revenue-impacting workflows
Drive automation and process optimization to shorten close cycles and ensure systems scale for new business models and international expansion
Maintain professional independence and uphold the integrity of LVT's financial reporting without exception
Qualification
Required
CPA required with deep technical expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, particularly for complex multi-element arrangements involving hardware, software, and services
8+ years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 public accounting background and public company or pre-IPO experience strongly preferred
Proven experience managing revenue accounting for companies with mixed revenue streams (hardware + software/SaaS + services)
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing accounting teams
Experience implementing and optimizing revenue systems in ERP platforms (Oracle, NetSuite) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
Expertise in complex reconciliations, variance analysis, technical memo writing, and SOX controls related to revenue
Excellent communication skills with ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, comfortable partnering with Sales, Legal, IT, and Operations teams
Detail-oriented with unwavering commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ethical financial reporting standards
Preferred
IPO preparation experience or public company financial reporting experience highly valued
