Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy applications and prototypes using Python, Java, and other relevant technologies
Design and implement data pipelines and ML workflows on the Snowflake and Postgres platforms
Use AI, Snowflake Notebooks, and Postgres for building and integrating data solutions
Implement and experiment with machine learning models and embeddings to demonstrate real-world business value
Collaborate with infrastructure and automation teams to support global deployment and management of database products
Create maintainable demo code and prototypes, making them understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as an Application Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in Python (90%) and Java
Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting is a plus
Proven experience with Snowflake (AI and Notebooks), Postgres, and embedding techniques
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and hands-on implementation in modern data platforms
Ability to create clear, maintainable demo code and prototypes
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Preferred
Snowflake Certifications (preferred, with a focus on AI)
Experience working in the financial or banking industry is a plus
