Software Engineering
Responsibilities
Take ownership of backend features and services, from requirements clarification to delivery and support
Work autonomously on complex tasks, making technical decisions and driving them to completion
Collaborate directly with the product team to refine requirements, identify edge cases, and propose practical solutions
Design and evolve backend systems with a focus on clarity, maintainability, and long-term scalability
Contribute to architectural decisions and help keep the system modular as it grows
Ensure high quality of delivered work, including reliability, performance, and operational stability
Participate in diagnosing and resolving production issues, and improving existing solutions
Act as a responsible owner of assigned areas rather than a task-only executor, influencing both implementation and technical direction
Qualification
Required
Advanced proficiency in Python, including asynchronous programming and concurrency
Experience with FastAPI (or similar) for building REST APIs
Proficient in SQLAlchemy
Strong background in PostgreSQL (design, performance tuning, query optimization)
Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly ECS
Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
Preferred
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and API security best practices
Experience with architectural design, including vertical slice architecture for modular and maintainable systems
