Responsibilities
Manage architectural design for modular and off-site construction projects from schematic design through construction documents
Coordinate closely with internal structural, MEP, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are compatible with modular fabrication and transport constraints
Lead design schedules, deliverables, and consultant coordination
Translate design intent into modular-friendly details, assemblies, and unitized systems
Review shop drawings and fabrication models for consistency with design intent and code requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact between the design team, factory, and construction teams
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning requirements, and modular approval processes
Support value engineering and constructability reviews specific to off-site construction methods
Maintain quality control of drawings, models, and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
6+ years of architectural design and project management experience
Proficiency in Revit (required); experience with BIM coordination for fabrication strongly preferred
Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction documentation
Experience coordinating with consultants and managing multi-disciplinary design teams
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Licensed Architect or on licensure track
Preferred
Direct experience with modular, prefabricated, or off-site construction projects preferred, but not required
