Developing and implementing community planning initiatives
Managing staff
Ensuring compliance with local and state regulations
Engaging with stakeholders to promote the City's strategic vision
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in urban planning, zoning, and land use regulations
Experience in economic development and community engagement strategies
Leadership and managerial skills, including team supervision and process management
Knowledge of municipal government operations and familiarity with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills
Proficiency in research, data analysis, and strategic planning
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Community Development, or related field
Preferred
An understanding of environmental sustainability practices is a plus
Previous experience in a public-sector role is highly desirable
