Responsibilities
Build Lasting Relationships Develop and maintain strong partnerships with physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and assisted living communities
Engage & Educate Deliver engaging in-service presentations and follow up consistently to support referral partners
Be the Expert Educate healthcare professionals and community members on the benefits of hospice care services
Liaise & Coordinate Serve as the primary point of contact between Geiss Med Hospice and referral sources to ensure expectations are exceeded
Resolve & Innovate Address concerns promptly and offer creative ideas to enhance marketing and outreach strategies
Community Ambassador Represent Geiss Med Hospice at community events to promote awareness and a positive brand presence
Ensure Seamless Transitions Collaborate with discharge planners to support smooth patient transitions from hospitals or facilities to home care
Qualification
Required
Must be willing to travel throughout the Orange County region
A dynamic personality with strong communication and presentation skills
Passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes
Excellent organizational skills and relationship-management abilities
Healthcare experience with knowledge of hospice services
Minimum of 2 years in business development, healthcare education, or referral coordination
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
