Responsibilities

Develop frameworks, policies and processes to reduce the risk from potential cyber security gaps for energy control systems at military installations
Resolve and identify complex cyber security issues and problems
Prepare briefings on cyber security / IAs issues to be given to leadership / management
Draft technical and non-technical correspondence, information papers, and other materials to respond to external and congressional inquiries regarding the agency’s cyber security initiates for energy systems
Develop recommendations for appropriate security policies and procedures
Identify cyber security risks in facility-related controls systems and recommend areas for improvements
Facilitate knowledge transfer and coordination with stakeholders across the enterprise
Provide input to and analysis of proposed policy and process changes. This will include security impacts, requirements and implications
Provide assistance in network security implementation, including preparation and oversight of the execution of policies and procedures to ensure the continuous security of the government’s architectures
Provide assistance in the oversight to ensure implemented security safeguards, policies and practices are disseminated and adopted across the enterprise

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Management or Related Field. (experience may substitute for educational requirement)
7+ years work in cyber security / information assurance
Ability to balance business requirements with IT objectives, provide technical leadership, & define & manage backlog at a domain level
Strong collaboration skills, able to manage & navigate differing perspectives, & have an ability to drive projects and initiatives to successful closure
Experience in developing and aligning solutions to published roadmaps
Thorough understanding of architecture patterns, frameworks and applying them in building IT strategies and domain level backlog
Knowledge and experience with DevOps principles, practices, tools and implementation
Experience providing enterprise-level IT and technology architecture support in a federal environment across a complex IT architectural portfolio
Experience with strategic development, creation and delivery of enterprise architecture products
Knowledge base & experience in designing & building secure solutions that align to the company's enterprise security & risk posture
Ability to provide quantitative risk assessments & able to communicate with senior executives (VP, SVP)
Demonstrated experience coordinating cyber security programs, security standards, procedures, etc. for the federal government
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
Excellent customer relationship management skills
Senior level security related certification (e.g., CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional))
Active Top Secret DoD clearance
