Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
Build and optimize Lakehouse and data warehouse architectures
Develop scalable solutions using Azure cloud services
Implement and manage APIs and data integrations
Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance
Perform performance tuning for OLAP/OLTP systems
Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers
Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
Support business intelligence and analytics platforms
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience applying Enterprise Architecture principles
5+ years in a lead or senior technical role
5+ years hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory & Databricks
5+ years hands-on experience with API implementation and management
5+ years hands-on experience with Python-based data pipelines
5+ years hands-on experience with CI/CD, Terraform, and infrastructure automation
5+ years hands-on experience with data warehousing and BI integrations
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong hands-on expertise in cloud-based data engineering
Strong hands-on expertise in big data technologies
Strong hands-on expertise in modern data architecture
Ability to lead technical initiatives
Ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
Experience in large enterprise or public-sector environments
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership
