Responsibilities

Negotiate and manage contracts for Starlink’s ground infrastructure, including colocation agreements, land leases, construction services, equipment installation, maintenance agreements, and other connectivity services with datacenters, utility providers, contractors, and telecom operators
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, legal, finance, and operations) to align contract terms with technical and regulatory requirements in different countries
Conduct risk assessments, vendor evaluations, and due diligence on potential partners to minimize supply chain disruptions and ensure adherence to ITAR, export control, and environmental regulations
Monitor contract performance, resolve disputes, and manage amendments or renewals to support scaling Starlink's network infrastructure in diverse geographies around the world
Ensure all contracts comply with SpaceX policies, federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and international standards, while contributing to process improvements in procurement workflows
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and innovative solutions for high-availability network infrastructure
Create new contract vehicles to support acquisition and scaling of new services that Starlink needs to support users around the world

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, law, supply chain management; OR 2+ years of experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating legal contracts and/or commercial terms
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
This position is based in Redmond, WA and requires being onsite – remote work not considered

Preferred

Experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts in one of the following domains: telecommunications, data centers, or infrastructure procurement
Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to work as a team-player, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Ability to conduct all activities with the highest degree of integrity
Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment
Strong understanding of commercial contract, commercial terms, and risk management principles
Experience with vendor management and procurement processes in a technical or engineering-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and contract management tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, or similar)
