Responsibilities

Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and waste‑segregation audits
Review, investigate, and implement action plans for work‑related injuries, illnesses, accidents, and safety concerns
Coordinate and schedule vendor services, and oversee bulk‑material sampling (e.g., asbestos testing)
Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for PIT and earth‑moving equipment, including record‑keeping and certifications
Support emergency‑response exercises and contribute to sustainability initiatives

Required

Must be a U.S. citizen
Possess an active Secret clearance
Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and waste-segregation audits

Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for PIT and earth-moving equipment, including record-keeping and certifications

Preferred

Earth mover equipment operation certification (Train the Trainer/Operator)
PIT equipment operation certification (Train the Trainer/Operator)
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management certification
DOT Hazmat Ground shipper certification
Method 9 Opacity Reading certification
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
OSHA 10-hour General Industry or Construction certification
