Responsibilities
Providing technical assistance to the Monitoring, Research, and Maintenance Division with stormwater monitoring and other data collection of Capitol Region Watershed District
The installation, operation and maintenance of monitoring equipment, including stormwater discharges at key outlets to the Mississippi River and stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs)
Recording and storing data collected from monitoring program
Monitoring, maintaining, and inspecting District stormwater BMPs
Assist with monitoring and analysis of District lakes, wetlands, precipitation, groundwater, and projects associated with lake management plans including fish, vegetation, sediment, and lakeshore areas
Spend the majority of the Water Resource Technician’s time outdoors participating in field monitoring and preparing and/or delivering samples to the lab
Qualification
Required
Technical assistance to the Monitoring, Research, and Maintenance Division with stormwater monitoring and other data collection

Recording and storing data collected from monitoring program
