Administrative Assistant (Nuclear Experience)

On-Board Services is an on-site contract service provider for a local manufacturing entity, seeking an Administrative Assistant with nuclear experience. The role involves performing routine clerical and administrative duties, preparing reports, and managing departmental communications.

Responsibilities

Perform routine clerical and administrative duties in support of Millstone Protection Services
Prepare established reports in SAP
Create requisitions for purchase orders
Monitor and manage departmental email inboxes
Maintain and manage SharePoint sites
Make minor corrections, code items, and maintain document records
Utilize computer systems and related equipment to record, store, and retrieve information
Compile regular and special reports using established formats and procedures
Perform general office duties, including:
Mailing
Ordering office supplies
Coordinating catering
Managing travel and overnight accommodations
Perform other duties as assigned; these duties constitute the essential functions of the role

Required

Nuclear experience is required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of general office experience performing routine clerical or administrative tasks
(A partial year of experience of 6 months or greater counts as one year)
Basic understanding of computerized and function-related equipment used to record, store, and retrieve information
Ability to manage multiple activities and resources
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient personal computer skills
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
Works under immediate supervision

Preferred

Minimum of 3 years of general office or administrative experience
Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing applications and SAP
Basic knowledge of company and departmental procedures
Basic knowledge of SharePoint
Experience in an administrative role involving document classification and accounting-related tasks
