Responsibilities

Understanding customer DB SQL server landscape

Configuring SQL Server HADR FCI AG in Azure across multiple subnets and regions including Availability set

Configuring and administering Security Policies Resource Governing Azure Key Vault

Migrating SQL Server from OnPremises to Azure Cloud using DMA DMS Azure Data Studio Log shipping Backup restore and various migration methods

Collaborating with internal stakeholders customer stakeholders and project managers to understand migration requirements and provide optimal solutions

Driving cloud solution activities for largescale complex migrations

Planning Storage and Capacity Management creating logical models and building physical models

Installing and configuring all versions of SQL Server 200x to 2022

Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving issues with Windows and SQL servers

Designing implementing and operating database systems for performance and reliability in Azure

Upgrading SQL Server from legacy versions to latest versions in Azure both OnPremCloud

Proficient in TSQL scripting and PowerShell scripting

Strong understanding of database performance using various tools
