Responsibilities

Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and premium payments on behalf of members toward their health insurance plans. This can include making manual payments online or through automated phone systems, setting up members on automatic withdrawal with their carrier, and accepting payments and matching payments via the bank (i.e. positive pay)
Assisting with billing-related functions including but not limited to sending invoices, pulling ACH payments, and making cost adjustments
Performing a variety of audits to ensure payment/billing functions are performed accurately and all members are in proper status with their health insurance plans in a timely manner
Utilizing multiple systems to problem solve, review, and audit data
Identifying opportunities for process efficiency and automation to improve accuracy and performance speed
Providing support and guidance to the operations team on payment/billing questions and best practices
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a harmonious and cooperative spirit within the organization
Perform special projects at management's request and all other duties as assigned

Required

High level of detail, organization, accuracy, and efficiency
Accounting skills or understanding of formula-based calculation
Tool experience with: Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel and Power BI), Google Gsuite products (Sheets, Docs), PowerBi, QuickBooks or similar accounting software, Salesforce or similar CRM
Bachelor's Degree required

Preferred

Indiana Health License preferred
Knowledge with processing payroll and/or banking experience a plus
