Responsibilities

Create product visions and strategic roadmaps that lead to the growth of existing products and boldly pursuing new ones
Drive operational and executional excellence, while leading creative and holistic thinking at scale across product releases, platforms, and devices
Advocate effectively on behalf of the Music and Podcasts UX team and their users, empowering them visibly and behind the scenes
Build relationships and operating rhythms with the broader YouTube organization to socialize and influence experiences that are cohesive and well-informed
Serve as a strong thought leader to provide perspective on the evolution of Music and Podcasts, including Generative AI experiences and innovation

Required

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience of 10 years in a senior role creating strategy and designing products
15 years of experience leading UX teams or design portfolios
Experience managing and growing cross-discipline UX organizations, including senior managers and their teams
Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions)

Preferred

Management experience of distributed teams and the ability to grow strong teams and leaders
Knowledge of music industry and artist team business practices, including marketing and publishing needs
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, driving commitment and innovation across teams and peers
Proven ability to work in a rapidly-changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty
Outstanding influencing and executive communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
Strong business judgment, strategic and analytical capabilities, including using data to drive strategy and business action
