Responsibilities
Responsible for the recruitment of specialty positions
Work closely with the business owners (hiring managers) to forecast recruitment needs
Assist in the implementation of recruitment strategies to directly drive staffing efficiencies and reduce overtime & agency utilization
Effectively and creatively source candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the job
Constantly seeks out and recommend creative new ways of sourcing talent
Maintains a strong pipeline of candidates for the specialty areas being supported
Recruits, evaluates qualifications of candidates, interviews, refers candidates, coordinates pre-employment process, and effectively negotiate and close job offers
Provides recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers
Work on team projects like the University relations program, internship program, professional and/or university recruiting events, Talent Acquisition branding/marketing initiatives, team training opportunities, etc
Performs all other related job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in related field is required
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment
Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications
Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty
