Responsibilities
Design, build, and document Databricks & Azure-based technical solutions and data products, leveraging a broad range of available toolsets, with considerations around scalability, availability, reliability, maintainability, usability, agility, and securability
Act as a team lead on projects, directing the technology process and ensuring expectations are met to build trust and credibility
Implement end-to-end data platform solutions and support existing data lakehouse, which will include hands-on-keyboard engineering and development work
Serve as an effective technical mentor to more junior teammates and communicate efficiently and effectively with a variety of stakeholders in the business and IT departments
Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and capabilities, within Databricks and otherwise, and continue to grow and develop the architectural skillset
Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Data Architect with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end data platform solutions using Databricks technologies on the Azure cloud
Ability to design, build, and document Databricks & Azure-based technical solutions and data products
Experience in implementing end-to-end data platform solutions and supporting existing data lakehouse
Ability to act as a team lead on projects, directing the technology process and ensuring expectations are met
Experience in serving as a technical mentor to junior teammates
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with a variety of stakeholders in the business and IT departments
Knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and capabilities within Databricks and otherwise
